The Row NYC hotel has pioneered a new era of individuality by meeting NYC’s signature urban grit with grandeur – transforming your stay into a completely contemporary experience – with a front row view to Times Square that’s truly incomparable. Our guests undeniably reside in the middle of it all, with exciting access to everything and anything – 24/7.

Located in the heart of Times Square, the Row NYC hotel was originally designed in 1928 by Herbert J. Knapp – theater architect extraordinaire – and has remained its own dramatic New York icon ever since. Throughout the last century, this striking hotel has starred as the Lincoln, the Manhattan, and the Milford Plaza before making its much-anticipated debut as the Row NYC.

Endlessly lounge-worthy, the Row NYC flaunts a spectacular lobby and statement spaces, artfully adorned in sleek stainless steel, wood and glass. Signature New York City inspired artworks enliven the senses and atmosphere throughout, from an animated light sculpture by video artist Yorgo Alexopolus, to a digital art gallery featuring famed paparazzo Ron Gallela’s most infamous shots from city nights that never end, to street artist photography installations within guest room floors.

Inspired amenities abound at the Row NYC. Our restaurant, District M, is a European express café by day and a Neapolitan pizza bar and cocktail lounge by night, offering a curated selection of delicious food, coffee, cocktails and more – sourced from some of NYC’s finest eateries. Open 24/7, Iconic M is a one-stop-shop for everyday essentials with a twist. And, our state-of-the-art Internet lounge always keeps our guests connected – in style.
The Row NYC boasts 1331 contemporary guest rooms on 28 floors, flaunting chic, Manhattan-inspired decor in white-hot hues mixed with unexpectedly vibrant custom furnishings.

About

I am an author and a Creative Director. My latest books are:

Sky Full of Elephants – coming 2024

Violet in Some Places – Available at Not A Cult

As a full-time creative (Chief Creative Officer at Spherical), I spend most days at the desk leading a team of creatives to brand some of the best hotels in the world. So, I write in the nooks and crannies of my available time. I wake up at 5:30am just to get in a few hours putting words on paper. I write on the train. I write on planes. I write waiting in lines. I feel I have to write. The reason is simple: representation.

Cebo Campbell Author of Violet in Some Places

I often tell the story of Ferris Bueller; a kid who decides to skip school and, on charm alone, steals a car, impersonates a cop, drinks underage, tampers with computers, and at every step exposes his best friends to peril, only to go home and fall asleep with his mother to kiss him into sweet dreams. I asked myself if Ferris were Trayvon Martin, how might that story end? I know the answer. So do you. And this is why representation is so important. I aim to contribute more stories into the world that diversely feature regular (but beautiful) lives made extraordinary. Art, I believe, is the only way to accomplish this. All my creative work is inspired by and aims to add to all the great work in the world.
